The tip that head out gave us to get there at 9 o'clock and get in line for the 930 opening was a great suggestion. By 930. The line was very long and we were some of the first people into the monastery. It wasn't incredible and then we were able to get in the early line to get into the church. The tip was good.

Everything went smoothly; tickets to the monastery were sold out by 2 p.m. So if I hadn’t bought my tickets online in advance, I wouldn’t have been able to get in. We had to wait in the second line to get in, so it’s worth arriving about 30 minutes early. The security check was quick and hassle-free.

The check-in is organized by time. That made it smooth. The audio tour broken down by area made it easy to jump around. The monastery is breathtaking.

Excellent! A beautiful place—one of Lisbon’s most stunning tourist attractions—and Headout provided great service; we didn’t have to wait in line to buy tickets since they were available as a PDF for entry.

The monastery is well worth a visit, despite the long line. The real problem is that to visit the church, you have to wait in another very long line on the way out. We decided not to bother.

The monastery is beautiful. One downside of the audio tour was that whenever I took a photo, the audio tour would stop, so I had to restart it several times.
