VERYYY BEAUTIFUL 😍 the aquarium was gorgeous and there was detailed information about the sea creatures. Loved the fact that there were different fishes in different places to easily differentiate the species.

If you're looking to escape Lisbon's hot afternoon sun, the Oceanário de Lisboa is the perfect place to spend a few hours.
I first visited when it opened in 1998, and after all these years, it's still just as impressive. The exhibits are beautifully maintained and offer a fascinating glimpse into the underwater world.
The massive central aquarium is the highlight. Every viewing window offers a completely different perspective, revealing new species and scenes each time you stop to look. It's a peaceful, immersive experience that's enjoyable for both kids and adults.
Highly recommended if you're visiting Lisbon!

Had a great day in Lisbon first visiting the Sao Jorge Castle and then making our way by tram to the Monastary. Easy with the pre-purchased tickets not to have to queue to buy tickets!

Unless there was a time slot, it was necessary to wait 25 minutes in a queue.
But it's absolutely worth visiting. Everyone who is in Belem should visit it! It's a must for understanding Portugal's history.
