The speedboat skipper and the biologist were super friendly and also very good at their jobs! The boat ride was great, and the finale arriving back at the port with turns at full speed was the icing on the cake after seeing around ten sperm whales, even more than dolphins! And that was over 20 km out from the port of Ponta Delgada. Were we lucky to have such great weather...

We had a really cool trip today with the catamaran. The boat was comfortable and the crew was really nice. They also provided us with lots of information regarding the animals. We where lucky enough to spot two spermwhales and dozens of dolphins. It was an amazing day, thankyou so much!

5/5 — Best morning we’ve had in the Azores We did the São Miguel whale watching boat tour today and it was everything we’d hoped for and more. Our daughter was completely captivated from the moment we left the marina. We saw well over 100 Atlantic spotted dolphins — they stayed with the boat, leaping and riding the bow wave — and then two sperm whales. Watching those huge animals surface, breathe, and dive was unforgettable. Quiet, respectful, and close enough to feel the scale without ever feeling like we were crowding them. The guide and skipper were excellent. Clear, calm, and genuinely passionate. They explained what we were looking at, how they find the animals, and how to watch without disturbing them. The whole trip felt professional and well run, not rushed. If you’re in São Miguel with kids (or without), do this. One of the best wildlife experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you

Great guide. He explained everything well. We didn't see whales which was disappointing but he told us that might be the case. We saw 2 species of dolphins and an unusual species of whale which really wasn't a whale. People rarely see them so that was exciting.
