SL Benfica Stadium & Museum- Great stadium tour with the highlight for me being the ability to see the American Bald Eagles up close. They are amazing! The virtual reality piece was cool too along with the museum, which is enormous! I was also happy that photos were taken that we could purchase, which further helped to capture the days memories for us! Overall, a fun experience! Pena Palace- Beautiful palace inside & out. Inside tour however was very short, so that was disappointing, but a nice visit overall.

A wonderful and respectful welcome at Gate 17 from a friendly and articulate young guide! It was great that the mascot was included in the tour, but the impact the animal had in a smaller space back in 2004 was even more impressive. Beautiful stadium, memorable tour. Thank you very much, Red & White!! GROUP Royal Sava Football Club, Antwerp, Belgium.

The tour guide was great. He was friendly, spoke English well, and was great with kids. The stadium was amazing to see. It’s just a shame we weren’t allowed to see Benfica’s locker room.

Franziska was a great guide—seeing the inside of the stadium with the Eagles was awesome! I also really liked the part with the virtual reality goggles!

Lisbon Beyond the Obvious We didn’t expect much. A soccer stadium is just a soccer stadium, right? Wrong. The tour of Estádio da Luz began, and it was hard not to get excited. Walking through the tunnel the players take before every game, stepping into the locker room, sitting in the substitutes’ seats along the sideline—all of this creates an atmosphere that gradually draws you in. And when the field comes into view, huge and immaculate, it really hits you. The eagles, Benfica’s symbol, complete the scene with a presence that’s impressive up close. The museum, then, capped off the tour perfectly: lots of history, lots of passion, and the feeling of having understood this city a little better. We also underestimated the Oceanário. We thought it would be “just another aquarium.” But the size, the colors, the movements, the incredible variety of marine life—everything there invites you to slow down and take your time looking around. We left there enchanted. And the surrounding Parque das Nações even gave us a bonus that wasn’t on the itinerary. Lisbon is like that: you think you know what you’re going to find, and it surprises you all the same.

The tour was fantastic! The stadium itself is absolutely stunning-easily one of the most beautiful I’ve ever visited-and the museum has such an immersive, atmospheric feel. The staff were all very polite and helpful, especially our guide, Diogo, who made the experience even better. We booked our tickets in advance through the Headout app. There are no fixed time slots-you simply arrive and wait until a group is formed for the tour. One important thing to note: you need to have your tickets printed (from the email confirmation). Showing them on your phone or app is not enough.
