Sadly gutted by fire in 1907, this magnificent enclosure still holds the memory of its former glory. Today, it houses the Maritime Museum, exhibiting fascinating objects related to Portugal's rich maritime history.

Several important figures are laid to rest within the Jerónimos Monastery, including explorers, royalty, and literary figures. The tombs are themselves works of art, showcasing various styles and materials, offering a glimpse into the past.

This entrance is located on the right-hand side of the monastery and is free to enter. It leads directly into the church, which is a beautiful example of Manueline architecture. Visitors can also purchase tickets for the cloister and other areas of the monastery from the ticket office inside the church.

This entrance is located on the left-hand side of the monastery and requires a paid ticket to enter. It leads directly into the cloister, which is a peaceful and beautiful space with intricate stonework and gargoyles. Visitors can also access the church from the cloister.

We had a beautiful day and enjoying every moment. The waiting time was 15 minutes and worth every penny .The Palace is beautiful and very well maintained.The hiking trail was absolutely amazing. We definitely came back to finish all trails and visiting all places surrounded.
