We enjoyed all the three routes. The red and blue rotes were the best ones. The traffic were quite helpful. One suggestion is to keep water bottles in the bus for sale. Being summer, it is very necessary to hydrate. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the lisbon sightseeing through gray line bus.

Great guide with very interesting explanations. However, the inclusions listed in the booking are not accurate. It mentions that a “sumptuous meal” is included, but that’s not true. No meal is included. Once in Sintra, we have to pay for our own food. Why include that in the listing? The guide confirmed that in a year, there has never been a meal. So this isn’t new.

The best part was getting an overview of Lisbon. Unfortunately, in some places the recorded announcements didn't match our current location. That's because the driver was simply going too fast.

I would always recommend doing this for at least the first day in a new city. It gave us a great sense of where things were and what was what. We found that riding the loop the entire loop and then getting off at tge sites we want to explore on the second route works best for us. The staff in Lisbon were very friendly and helpful.

The best thing about the Hop-on Hop-off tour in Lisbon isn't just how easy it is to get around… it's the effortless panoramic views. Lisbon has a lot of hills, and from the bus you can see EVERYTHING without getting tired. If you see something you like, you can get off, explore it, and then hop on the next bus. It's very convenient.

We enjoyed touring around, first with the gray line - red line (note: the same red hop-on hop-off bus also runs with yellow letters, and you should NOT take that one, even though they stop at exactly the same stops). The explanations were excellent, also in Dutch. We will NEVER forget 1755... very sorry for all the Lisboas at the time. Later, we took the blue line (nice and long) and walked back up to the center, panting, rewarded with some wine, beer, and tasty fish snacks while listening to the cozy, melodious Fado of Ana Moura. And then, together with my beloved, we ordered a nice aged Tawny port 20 to warmly conclude this balmy spring evening.

We liked everything except the driving style of one of the three drivers, who drove the bus very roughly. We were jostled around—it was very unpleasant. The last driver, a woman, drove perfectly on the way back from the aquarium around 5:30 p.m. She drove smoothly, with no sudden acceleration or braking.
