This was a highlight of our Lisbon visit! You won't find a coach museum in any other city. It isn't overwhelming. Easy to see and fun for kids. It's in a big open room with plenty of space to run. Don't need more than an hour to see.

Super happy to have found this activity on your site. It was really very enriching and, above all, a magnificent palace—I'd even say more beautiful than the Palace of Versailles, since I've seen both.

I use Headout all the time for my tours in Europe. This was perfect because we could go at our own pace and each room was very well signed. The palace was interesting and the furniture was very well staged.

Ticket prices are really cheaper than on other apps and websites. The site is very beautiful and well-preserved. Being able to see and understand the lifestyle back then was very educational.

The preservation of the coaches was amazing! Great job! I had a great time and really enjoyed it. I will recommend it to anyone interested in history and it's preservation.

An interesting museum with a large collection of vintage carriages dating back to the early 20th century. The spacious exhibition halls help prevent overcrowding. We recommend purchasing tickets online.
    • Enjoy a tour of the coach museum that is customized to show you the fantastic collection of old coaches from the 17th to 19th centuries. These coaches played an important role in human, social, and cultural development over time.

    • Take a walk through history and see the wealthy lifestyle of Portugal in the past. You'll also get to see the modern architecture of the museum, which tells the story of Portugal's history.

    • Step into history as you explore the exclusive opportunity to visit Lisbon's former royal palace, the only one accessible to the public.

    • Observe the impeccably preserved rooms, adorned with neo-classical motifs, original decorations, and carefully arranged furnishings, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of the past.

    • Fun Fact: The dozens of coaches, berlins, and carriages of the Portuguese Crown were hidden in the stables of the various royal palaces and it was the idea of Queen Amélie to display the Royal House‘s vehicles in a single place

  • National Coach Museum

Enjoyed the palace, but the app didn't work on site. Headout app wouldn't deliver my pdf for entry.
