Herculeneum was so interesting! Our guide was very informative and packed a lot into the 2-hour tour. He was able to answer everyone's questions and give insight into the exploration of the site, the lifestyle of the people who lived there, the forces of the volcano that destroyed the town, and many other things. The mosaics and frescoes were amazing, and the story of the recovery of the incinerated fishing boat extraordinary. Great tour!

What an incredible piece of history!! We were super impressed with everything we saw. A little bonus is the restaurant half way up on the walk to the waterfall.

A short trip allowed me to visit this enchanted place. No line at the entrance. We showed our tickets, and a long, quiet walk listening to nature began.

I liked how the audio guide included in the ticket showed me where I was on the map and all the different spots that I could choose to listen to.

The audio guide works very well, and the information is spot-on. It's great to do the tour at your own pace. My daughter, who did it 3 years ago, recommended it to me.

Very unique and evocative places; it was cool going through the tunnels in the dark to see the reconstruction of how the cisterns worked, and the final part of the tour with the visit to Nero's Theater inside an apartment was very interesting as well. The girl who was our tour guide, whose name I don't remember, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Easy access and very well organised. We enjoyed all of the comfort of already having a ticket and being able to walk in.
