Pickup right outside Pompeii so easy to get to, prompt collection after our tour and drop off near the train station was ideal.

A great day despite Mt Vesuvius being closed due to weather. Michele was a very knowledgeable guide who gave us an intriguing insight into the life of both sites, Herculaneum and Pompeii. He is obviously very experienced and looked after us all well during the heavy rain. Likewise Andre was a careful and safe driver who made the day comfortable. This was an extraordinary visit to an extremely well-preserved site, frozen in time. The survival of so many wooden artifacts—cots, room panels, and cupboards—brings the daily life of the era vividly to life. It is incredible to think that 80% of the ancient town remains buried beneath modern Ercolano.

It's incredible how much you see in a single day—it's wonderful. At Mount Vesuvius, they drop you off just a few meters from the crater and very close to the other viewing platforms.
