Nothing to complain about—we were able to cut in line, got in right away, and had no problems. Pompeii is bigger than I expected, which is obviously a good thing. With the ticket that doesn’t include a guide, you can make your tour as long or as short as you want—it’s really fun.

I visited Pompeii for the first time and it completely exceeded my expectations — it’s one of the most powerful historical sites I’ve ever experienced. From the moment you walk through the gates, you feel transported back nearly 2,000 years. The preserved streets, ancient houses, stunning frescoes, mosaics, baths, and the impressive amphitheater are absolutely breathtaking. What moved me most was the haunting atmosphere — walking the same cobblestone roads as the people who lived there before the eruption of Vesuvius makes history feel incredibly real and emotional. I bought the tickets through Headout and the process was flawless: instant e-tickets, no queues at the entrance, and smooth entry. We spent almost 4.5 hours exploring and could have easily stayed longer. The site is well organized with clear paths, making it easy to navigate even on a busy day. If you’re planning a trip to Pompeii, don’t hesitate — this is a must-visit. It’s far more than just ruins; it’s a profound journey through time. Highly recommended!

Today we visited Pompeii ruins. So much to see. 9 hours and still didn't see everything. This is our 2nd Headout purchase. The 1st was Vatican City. We purchased skip the line with audio. The skip the line was great! The audio tour was lacking, so we decided to not use it. Each highlight was barely 30 seconds. Pompeii on the other hand was excellent! Skipped the line, walked right in. Audio guide was amazing. One and a half to 2 minute details on like 200 ish sites inside, including navigation to a site if you needed it. Only issue with the audio guide was continuous audio, as if you had a pre-planned direction. The audio continues to talk about sites you have not or are not currently visiting because you are still at the previous site. Overall I still love it. Great purchase!

We arrived at the meeting place, which was very easy to find. The tour was phenomenal—I loved every moment of discovering the fascinating history of this place, where you realize just how fragile human life is. Seeing the remains of a donkey during the tour was striking, but my favorite moment was at the antiquities shop when I saw the tied-up dog and the people of Pompeii, who still reveal so much about their lives even centuries after the event. I highly recommend it.

Pompeii was one of the most memorable places we visited in Italy. Walking through the ancient streets and standing among the impressive columns made history feel incredibly real. A truly moving experience. A huge site, friendly staff. The restaurant staff, however, were a little less friendly; given the number of customers, they spoke to guests in a rather cold manner without ever smiling.
