The circular layout of the Ocenarium around the main tank symbolizing "One Ocean" is a great idea. I've never seen anything like this anywhere else. I've never seen Sea Dragons anywhere else either. Instead of separating every part of the world, I felt that we are all connected by the same body of water thus sharing the same connection and the same responsibility to protect this precious liquid that give birth to life millions of years ago.

Today we went to the Lisbon Aquarium. It’s truly a delight to walk around there and enjoy all the beautifully recreated worlds. The most beautiful part—and what really made an impression—is the underwater world with large sharks and rays and all the other extraordinary fish, including the very special sunfish; see photo

I enjoyed the many different displays of ecosystems and habitats that are present in our world. The film about ocean diving and sea life was exceptional. I would like to see the jelly fish changed to Jellies or Sea Jellies since they are not fish, and also star fish are also not fish and should be called Sea Stars.

We (a family with two children) had a truly wonderful stay! It was amazing to see such diversity, learn about sustainable stewardship of nature, and discover different species of sharks. We were particularly captivated by the sea dragons and the vibrant colors of the tropical fish!

Fabulous aquarium. Especially liked the serenity of the Japanese fresh water environment room. The otters, jellyfish, sunfish all got my extra attention. The emphasis on the importance of keeping our oceans & waterways clean and healthy was explained well. Excellent, informative experience

The Ozeanario was really impressive—both in terms of its size and the variety of animals living there together. It was peaceful. The grounds were beautifully maintained. And yes, the cable car was nice too; we took it to get closer to the bridge.

The large display tank was really beautiful. The small tanks were disappointing—few fish and poorly lit. The jellyfish tank was sparsely populated. According to a staff member, there was no freshwater tank; he had no idea what I was talking about and wasn’t interested in helping me. But I’m already used to that from Lisbon. I found it anyway. I was very disappointed with the water quality. I found milky water instead of clear water. I’m not used to that in Germany. Yeah, I had expected more from the visit. I can’t recommend it. Too bad...
