“Una experiencia excelente. La Torre de Belém y el Monasterio de los Jerónimos son dos lugares imprescindibles para visitar en Lisboa. La entrada fue muy fácil de usar y todo el proceso estuvo bien organizado. El Monasterio impresiona por su arquitectura y la Torre de Belém ofrece unas vistas espectaculares junto al río Tajo. Recomiendo llegar temprano para evitar las filas y disfrutar con más tranquilidad. Sin duda volvería a reservar con Headout.”

Tutto perfetto per la nostra visita del 25/7: ingresso alla Torre di Belem ore 10 senza fila e stessa cosa al Monastero alle ore 13. Abbiamo visitato con assoluta calma facendo fotografie senza troppa folla nei punti panoramici! Davvero ottimo!

There was no line up, we entered very fast! The Belem Tour seems to have been all cleaned recently, it's beautiful!! We couldn't go to the very top the dat we were there.

It wasnt a smooth entry delay in ticket being emailed so a little frustration waiting, but got in with 15 min delay, belem tower is small but worth a visit if you enjoy historical stuff , very differant from most things & interesting great design .

Take a 1.5-hour guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Belém Tower and learn about its history from an English and Spanish-speaking guide.

Observe Gothic architectural elements, learn about the Tower's role in protecting the city, and why it was important to ships and explorers.

I posti sono assolutamente da visitare meritano tanto. La sola cosa che mi ha deluso è che nella prenotazione avevamo l'opzione dell'audioguida per poi scoprire che c'era stato un errore del team. Peccato.

This incredible 6 story tower is an architectural work of art. Its intricate design makes for a stunning photo op but beyond its beauty lies a long history of power and protection. Explore its many levels and learn about its past as part of Portugal’s rich cultural heritage.

Learn about the Belém Tower

Your English and Spanish-speaking guide will walk you through the history of the monument for over 1.5 hours. The tower has 5 levels connected by a spiral staircase. These stairs are so narrow that they’ve installed a traffic signal set up to go up and down the stairs! Visit the octagonal Governor's Chamber and then make your way to the King’s room which overlooks the southern side of the tower. Another interesting element in this room is the eight holes in the floor called 'machicolations', through which the garrison could shoot or drop projectiles to fend off attacks.

Capture Panoramic Views

Get stunning views of the Tagus Estuary and riverbanks from the terrace. Looking northward, catch sight of the secluded Chapel of St. Jerome among the trees on Avenida da Liberdade.

Since this is a highly visited site, plan your visit with enough time on your hands as there could be a line at the entrance.

There is medium accessibility for guests with reduced mobility.
