At first, we did the full bus loop, which allowed us to see everything and then choose the spots we wanted to visit while skipping the rest, so it saves some walking since the tour is huge. We didn't have an in-person guide; it was an audio guide, but it was well done, and we really enjoyed it.

It’s no laughing matter: I arrived at the station to catch the bus, but the conductor made a mistake and wouldn’t let me board. On the next bus, a man approached me, standing just one meter away, speaking in a threatening and arrogant tone. I warned him to back off and told him to leave me alone. I had to tell him that I practice martial arts and if I feel threatened, I’ll defend myself. Other than that, everything’s fine.

Tour itself was good and informative. Biggest problem was the instructions to register our tickets. The directions took us to a car park with no offices or anything. Followed the directions link on the email. We had to ask several people until we saw the bus and the driver helped us.

It’s a unique and fun experience. The best part is that you can take it as many times as you like, exploring different stops along the way, and if the weather is nice, you’ll enjoy great views during the ride. The downside is that you don’t always find seats with a good view.

Of course, the fact that it was a true hop-on hop-off tour, with a Dutch audio guide. It’s just a shame that on 3 out of 10 seats, the system doesn’t let you select our language.

Convenient for visiting multiple locations. The audio guide is excellent. One minor drawback: tickets purchased online are not easy to exchange.

Ride a double-decker bus through Rome’s ancient streets for 1-day, 1-run or 24/48/72 hours and explore this historic city your way.

Buses swing by every 10 to 15 minutes, so you can jump on and off at any of eight prime stops without waiting or losing momentum.

Short on time or just love a smooth ride? The 1-run pass gives you a full city tour in a single loop, no interruptions, just pure Roman magic on wheels.

Keep your trip stress-free with free WiFi, a trusty route map, and an audio guide packed with stories, history, and fun tidbits in multiple languages.

Cruise by the Colosseum’s towering arches, the ornate Triton Fountain at Piazza Barberini, and the sprawling Circus Maximus, where chariots once thundered.

1-run, 1-day or 24/48/72-hour unlimited hop-on hop-off tour (as per option selected)

The tour gave a good overview of the sights, which we then visited afterwards.

Head Out Provider information is excellent. I used them for 3 bookings and the information is extremely well set out and easy to follow. Hop On Hop Off experience was mixed. Great audio guide and selection of attractions, unfortunately spoiled by the driver experience and simply created a nervous journey for passengers. As an aside, unable to complete a review where options do not match the reason fir my comment is somewhat unhelpful.
