Pro tips to help you make a pick

Morning entry slots often have lighter crowds and calmer enclosures; opt for a timed-entry ticket to secure an early reservation.

Feeding presentations for penguins and sea lions run at set times; choose a ticket with flexible entry or reserve a specific time slot to coincide with these highlights.

All main pathways accommodate wheelchairs and strollers; if you require additional assistance, select the mobility-access ticket option, which includes one free companion admission.

Weekend and holiday tickets frequently sell out several weeks in advance; book at least two weeks ahead or consider an off-peak weekday pass for better availability and lower rates.

Buying through the website was very convenient, but picking up the ticket at the Natural History Museum was not. We had to get in the same line as people buying tickets. We didn't think it was worth it. Unlike MoMA, where there was already a QR code. Both museums are incredible. I recommend visiting them.

It would be nice if we would not have to convert the tickets- the whole point of purchasing tickets online is to avoid the line...

It was very easy to get there by train. We stayed on 59th Street and walked from there. Upon arrival, the service was wonderful—the staff was very respectful and polite—and the entire area was very clean and tidy. I was captivated by all the views. It’s definitely worth coming back to repeat this lovely experience.
