CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5We had a great experience visiting the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. The meeting point was easy to find, and collecting our tickets from the agency was quick and simple. Everything was well organized, which made the beginning of the visit completely stress-free. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We received a short but detailed explanation about where to go, how to enter the museums, and what we needed to do next. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the guide helped make the entrance process smooth. We wer e also pleasantly surprised to receive a free audio guide, which added a lot to the experience and helped us better understand the artworks, sculptures, galleries, and history around us. The Vatican Museums themselves were incredible, with so much to see along the way before reaching the unforgettable Sistine Chapel. We had a really enjoyable time and felt that the service provided by the agency made the entire visit easier and more relaxing. I would definitely recommend this option to other travelers who want a simple, organized, and enjoyable way to visit the Vatican Museums.EEduardo G
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5A gem unlike any other in the world. The Vatican is one of those places that exceeds all expectations. The majesty of St. Peter’s Basilica, the beauty of the square, and the incredible artistic and historical richness make for an unforgettable visit. Everything is very well maintained, and the feeling of being in a place with so much history is breathtaking. I recommend setting aside several hours to explore it at a leisurely pace and enjoy every corner. Without a doubt, it’s a must-see for any traveler, regardless of their beliefs.JJuergen H
FamilyVerified bookingLast week5/5We took the tour in German with Maria. It was a great tour, and we learned so much. Our tour was first thing in the morning, so the heat wasn’t too bad. The tour was booked through Headout and conducted by Italy Pass Tours. Everything went according to plan. Thank you so much for the great organization. We can wholeheartedly recommend Headout! And thanks again to Maria.CCristian N
SoloVerified bookingLast week5/5The service from the staff who helped me at the office was excellent—they were super friendly and attentive—and the tour was great, but I do want to emphasize that if you want to enjoy a more peaceful experience at the Vatican, I highly recommend booking well in advance because it gets very crowded by midday. I highly recommend booking through this site—it’s very well managed.JJanine S
SoloVerified booking6 days ago5/5Confirmation email with all the necessary information for picking up the voucher, which is available at a location right in front of the Vatican Museum entrance. Upon arrival, I immediately received my printed ticket—without having to wait in line—and was escorted by a staff member to the security checkpoint inside the museum! It was really worth it to purchase the ticket in advance through Headout!
When in Rome, bask in the splendor of Renaissance greats. Avoid the winding queues and get priority entry to two of the most iconic museums in the world: The Vatican Museums as well as the Borghese Gallery and Museum!
The Vatican Museums
Travel back in time and experience art and religious history with skip-the-ticket-line entry to the Vatican Museums. Explore at your own pace the Greek Cross Gallery, where you can spot intricately carved sarcophagi, browse through the Cabinet of the Masks, or see the Sala degli Animali - a virtual menagerie of fantastic beasts, real and imagined. Don't miss out on seeing the Gallery of Maps, to discover how cartographers depicted the world through the ages. While you're at it, treat your eyes to stunning masterpieces by Renaissance masters in the Raphael Rooms. Then, it’s time to admire Michelangelo’s beautiful Sistine Chapel, the crown jewel of the Vatican, and considered to be a cornerstone of western art. The Last Judgement covers the wall behind the altar and is probably the most famous single work of art in the Sistine Chapel. Please note: Entry to the museums is by obligatory online booking.
Borghese Gallery and Museum
One of the most exhausting aspects of exploring a new place as a tourist is undoubtedly the queues. Fortunately, with an escorted entry, you get to avoid all that bustle and stroll around at your own pace. The Borghese Gallery is located in what used to be the Villa Borghese Pinciana. The building of the gallery was added in with the gardens around it at first. The gardens, however, have become a separate attraction for tourists by themselves. With fountains, gardens, pink marble walls, and frescoed ceilings, the Borghese Gallery and Museum is a fitting place to house some of the world's greatest artworks. Find here everything from sculptures by Bernini and Canova, to paintings by Caravaggio, Raphael, and Titian amongst others.
