GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago4/5On our tour, our guide was Giuseppe (if I'm not mistaken). You could tell he was truly passionate about what he was sharing with us and thoroughly enjoyed doing it. He was very kind and welcoming, especially considering that one of the members of the group had issues with their ticket and he went out of his way to help. The visit was spectacular. At the start of the tour, before entering the museums, he stopped to explain in detail what we would see in the Sistine Chapel and what we should look out for, since he wouldn't be going inside with us and talking isn't permitted there anyway. If I had to mention one downside, it's that with so many people around, you don't really get enough time to fully appreciate the guide's explanations. Still, that doesn't take away from the fact that he made every effort to be understood and answered any questions we had. Whenever I come back, I will definitely book with you again. Thank you for such an incredible experience!DDawn G

There was a delay on entering that was not his fault, but he stayed on and did the time anyway, which was very kind. My only concern was the length of the tour, despite the Vatican delay, the dome walk had its own queue that would have taken an hour to pass through. I think this should be made more obvious upon booking, as we were starving and tired and had to sadly leave it. A bit of transparency would not hurt a tour description!!MMr Adam B

There is so much to see at the Vatican, it is impossible to do it all in one day. I would also recommend climbing the top of St Peters Basilica (this is an extra charge of 10 euros if you don't mind climbing the 500+ steps or 15 euros if you want to get the lift and cut out the first 200 steps. )SStephanie H
