We benefited by fantastic weather - clear skies and calm water. The boat was so smooth and the pace allowed us to fully appreciate not only the bridges but also the ancient and modern architecture on the bank. Everoin our group was delighted!

Beautiful boat trip on the Douro. On-time departure. Although the boat had a technical issue completing the planned route, we were transferred to another boat and did the planned route again!!....:)

A great way to explore Duoro Valley! The day trip was well organised, hitting all the necessary highlights along the way. We got a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide, Luis, who, together with Moreira, the bus driver, made sure we felt safe and had fun along the way and while exploring the valley. Hard to say anything about other guides, but Luis for sure elevated the experience for us!

Normally I would prefer a smaller group but this worked well. Mia was a great guide - very personable and gave us a lot of great information. I appreciated the musical choices of the driver - Red red wine as we arrived at our 2nd tasting, Country roads as we departed for Portugal and Roxanne as we arrived back in Porto. 🤣 Lunch was good and nicely presented, and the 2 tastings showed us the cooperative and a family winery. Nicely balanced tour.

For us, it was great that we could use the ticket on the day of arrival and the following day. That way, we did the red route on Tuesday and the blue route on Wednesday in Porto.
