Douro River Cruise

Overall, we really enjoyed the Douro tour, and it’s a beautiful region that’s well worth visiting. The scenery during the boat cruise was absolutely stunning. We did have slightly different expectations, as we thought the boat cruise would be the main part of the experience. It would have been great if the guide had shared commentary during the cruise, as hearing more about the history and surrounding vineyards while on the river would have made it even more memorable. A special mention to our guide, Milena, who was incredibly friendly, charismatic, and kept the atmosphere fun throughout the day. Our driver, Jose, did an excellent job navigating the narrow mountain roads—they made a fantastic team. The port wine tasting was one of the highlights of the trip. The venue was lovely, and the tasting itself was very enjoyable and well presented. The only part that didn’t quite meet our expectations was the lunch. The food was fairly average, and we had expected to dine with views over the vineyards, so the setting was a little disappointing compared with the rest of the experience. Despite those points, we had a wonderful day and would still recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of the Douro Valley. Thank you for a memorable trip!

It's been a lovely tour, rather well-organised and lived up to expectations! The scenic views combined with the excellent tour guide made the whole experience unforgettable. I'd like to express gratitude to our tour guide Egor (I'm not sure whether I spell his name correctly) but his middle name is Jesus ☺️ He didn't turn water into wine, but otherwise did his best to entertain us and to provide the enthusiasm 😁🔥

The staff there are very friendly and always willing to provide the right information, and they’re helpful when boarding and disembarking from the boat; it also has a QR code for an audio tour of the boat

The attraction's meeting point was easy to find. Since our tickets were in the HeadOut app, we saved time waiting in line, and the service from the boat crew was phenomenal.

Amazing day starting in Amaramte, the vineyards and boat tour. Our guide Piedra was a fun driver, tour guide and entertainer- we all enjoyed him!

Our guide was very friendly and informative. The scenery was spectacular. Enjoyed the River ride. Wine tasting and lunch were great. However our guide's driving through the winding roads was at times two fast and uncomfortable. Felt he should have shown more care considering who his passengers were.

Breathtaking museum with everything you need to see about the club and their history. Every time I thought I came to the end, to my surprise, there was more. Everything was very modern and I found it easy both to navigate and learn in English . The stadium tour was very inclusive and got to see absolutely everything I wanted and dreamt of. 10/10 experience

It's a peaceful, scenic boat ride—a must-do if you want to see the city from a different perspective. It's cold, so be sure to bring a coat or sweater.
