This Douro Valley wine tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Porto. Our guide, Cuber, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and kept us informed throughout the day. We learned so much about the history, traditions, and hard work behind the wines and ports of the Douro Valley. The lunch was absolutely delicious and prepared in a traditional Portuguese style over an open fire, which made the experience even more special. Our guide Manuela was absolutely brilliant! She was very friendly and knowledgeable, providing lots of interesting information and answering all our questions. Our bus had a slight malfunction, but she and the driver Irene did a great job of keeping us still on track and where we needed to be. The views on the trip were stunning and the port was of course delicious! Overall it was a brilliant experience and a great way to see the Douro valley.

A very enjoyable activity with a brief stop allowing for a quick tour of the town of Amarante. The visit to the port producer was well organized, followed by a pleasant little trip on the Douro. Then, lunch and another visit to a slightly more rustic estate. Very nice. A special thank you to our guide Christian, who is an excellent guide with a great sense of humor!
