Located at Calle de Santa Isabel, 52, this is the museum’s primary entrance, directly facing Plaza del Emperador Carlos V and just steps from Atocha train and metro stations. The entrance is fully wheelchair accessible, with wide automatic doors, ramps, and direct access to the main lobby and ticket counters. This entrance is ideal for most visitors and provides access to the main galleries, Guernica room, and elevators.

Nouvel Building Entrance

Situated at Ronda de Atocha, this entrance leads into the museum’s modern Jean Nouvel extension. It is adjacent to the museum’s public library and auditorium, and is also fully accessible with ramps and elevators. This entrance is especially convenient for visitors attending special exhibitions, events, or accessing the rooftop café and terrace.

Calle Argumosa Side Entrance

Found on Calle Argumosa, this side entrance is typically open during peak hours and special events. It offers step-free access and is suitable for visitors with strollers or wheelchairs. Signage will indicate if this entrance is open on the day of your visit.
