The music was beautiful and powerful, and the actors’ voices were amazing. I especially loved the songs because they expressed the characters’ emotions so strongly.

The Lion King is my favorite movie, so seeing the musical was honestly a pretty big deal for me. I had really high expectations going in, and somehow, it managed to exceed all of them. First of all, the Lyceum Theatre itself is beautiful. The atmosphere already makes you feel like you’re about to experience something special before the show even starts. And then the musical begins… I absolutely loved it. Every single actor, from the main characters to the smallest roles, was so talented. Their voices, acting, and stage presence were all amazing. The stage and costume design were probably one of my favorite parts. One thing I was genuinely curious about before seeing it was how a story that revolves around animals could possibly be turned into a live musical performed by actual people. But the costume design were so incredibly well done that I completely forgot about that question within seconds. The moving staircases, the way the sets transformed, and all the little details made everything feel so alive. And somehow, Scar became almost my favorite character in the musical. Which is funny because he’s definitely not my favorite character in the movie! And here’s the crazy part: I took two people with me who had NEVER seen The Lion King movie before. I know, absolutely insane. 😂 They loved it, watching their reactions throughout the show made the experience even more fun for me. There were so many moments when I got chills, and I genuinely got emotional more than once. Even though I already knew the story and every song, seeing it performed live made it feel completely different. It was emotional, beautiful, incredibly well made, and honestly just one of those experiences I’ll remember for a long time.

The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment the curtain rose, the production felt magical: the opening scene alone, with the animals moving through the audience and onto the stage, gave me goosebumps. The costumes, puppetry and set design are spectacular. It is impressive how the actors bring every animal to life with such creativity and elegance, while the music makes the story even more emotional and powerful. Even if you already know the film by heart, seeing it performed live gives it a completely new dimension. The cast was excellent, with strong voices, great energy and real emotion throughout the show. The performances of Simba, Scar, Mufasa, Timon and Pumbaa were particularly memorable, balancing drama, humour and warmth perfectly. The orchestra also deserves a special mention: the music sounded incredible in the theatre. The Lyceum Theatre itself is beautiful and has a very special atmosphere, although some seats may have a slightly restricted view, so it is worth checking before booking. Overall, this is much more than a musical: it is a visual and emotional journey for all ages. Whether you are visiting London or live here, The Lion King is absolutely worth seeing.

This theater is magical, with a great atmosphere. A special shout-out to the cast of The Phantom of the Opera. You easily get swept away.

His Majesty's Theatre is a beautiful theater and therefore a wonderful setting for this musical. The musical is superbly staged, with fantastic actors and actresses and great voices. The orchestra and sound were also magnificent. We had front-row seats practically at eye level with the stage and looking directly into the orchestra pit. The advantage is that no one can block your view; the disadvantage is that legroom is extremely limited here, which gets a bit uncomfortable after a while. There are no photos of the performance, as taking photos is sensibly not allowed.

The singers are just insane! I'd say it's even better than the movie and much more than I expected! Hard to find a better musical from now on! Don't waste this opportunity, get your ticket and enjoy the show! You won't regret!

Moulin Rouge was fantastic ... the set, the cast, the dialogue and songs were all brilliant. Even before the musical started the cast were on the stage entertaining us !

What a hilarious show! We had an excellent view as the seats were well-tiered (and surprisingly spacious). The theatre staff were friendly and helpful. The sound quality was excellent. There was complimentary water at the bar and a good range of merchandise on offer.
