We came to the show with two teenagers, and we absolutely loved it. The plot, the actors, the energy, the special effects — amazing! We’re tourists, and for us, London theatre takes everything to another level. This production definitely lived up to that standard. The theatre was packed. We had tickets in the Grand Circle, and the view was perfectly fine from there too. I would highly recommend this show to anyone!

A really enjoyable show! This blend of horror, theater, and musical was quite exceptional (in the literal sense: it’s an exception compared to other shows in the area!).
Even though I’ve never seen *Stranger Things*, this prequel is still completely understandable.
The staging is truly impressive, with some pretty mind-blowing effects and a few jump scares.
Not quite as impressive as *The Phantom of the Opera*, which remains at the top of my list, but definitely a solid top 3 along with *The Lion King*.
No regrets! Go see it without hesitation (well, not too much—unless you’re too scared!)

A must see if you are a fan of HP! Great show, great actors, great effects and gentle staff.
Seats are a bit tight, so if you are tall, your legs will feel uncomfortable.

I absolutely loved the show. The storyline is incredibly exciting, and it strikes the perfect balance between introducing new characters and bringing back the beloved ones we already know. The special effects are absolutely breathtaking! You simply can’t figure out how they work. It feels like real magic!

Hadn't been to the Gillian Lynne theatre before - the layout was good with only mildly restricted view from our seats (which we knew when booking).
The show was brilliant with fantastic puppetry. We were wowed by the stage craft and the performances.
We are two adults but I will say it seemed very family friendly with booster cushions being offered to smaller audience members.

We booked this show somewhat spontaneously and ended up the highlight of our weekend, so happy I got to experience Totoro in stage before it wraps in early 2027. The puppetry was masterful and every detail was perfect kawaii, shed many tears of joy

The hall is a courtroom, which makes the play feel very realistic. We were really impressed. During the intermission, we discussed whether the defendant was guilty or not. It was very impressive.
