Il signore che ci ha guidato nelle catacombe era veramente bravo, competente e simpaticissimo. Un pò di disorganizzazione da parte dell'autista e della guida del tuor ci ha permesso di fare un giro extra per le stradine di Roma.

Diese Tour ist empfehlenswert. Wirklich gut und klar orgnisiert. Die Katakomben sind interssant und ie Fuehrung ist sehr gut gestaltet dennoch das Highlight war sicherlich unser Busfahrer . Allesandro macht die Tour zu einem schoenen Erlebnis. ))

Alessandro was a very knowledgeable, witty and charming guide proud of his Roman heritage and managed to make a personal connection with the group. The tour was a bit pricey but no complaints. The guide at the catacombs Miriam was also knowledgeable and smart.

Something went wrong with this tour but we were soon welcomed by a wonderful guide. This was a privilege to be able to see and hear the stories of the catacombs . To be honest this was the highlight of of my stay

Your friendly specialist guide will help you navigate through the subterranean maze while explaining the unusual history of Rome. These 2,000-year-old tunnels contain early Christian symbolism etched and frescoed onto the marble slabs guarding their loved ones' graves. Don't miss the Crypt of St. Cecilia, honoring the patron saint of music – believed to have invented the organ! Her evocative statue lies amidst biblical mosaics and reliefs. On Wednesdays, head to the Catacombs of Domitilla instead, admiring some of the most elaborate tombs in Rome.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring along a layer for chilly underground temperatures.

Strict dress code: Clothing that covers the knees and shoulders.

There are 50 irregular steps to descend and ascend, with no seating area or elevator.
