Martedì 4 agosto. Prenotato ed acquistati due biglietti per palazzo papale e giardino segreto di castel Gandolfo. Arrivati, con sorpresa abbiamo trovato tutto chiuso in quanto il Santo Padre ha deciso di rimanere in giorno in più a castel Gandolfo. Ufficialmente sul sito dava come aperto e visitabile. La gendarmeria ha invitato a chiamare telefonicamente assistenza musei vaticani. I quali si sono dichiarati non di competenza in quanto biglietti erano acquistati con carta credito in precedenza con Headout. Sul vostro sito purtroppo non compare nessun telefono per informazioni ed assistenza. Dopo mie tre mail di richiesta rimborso, ed altrettante ( solo in inglese...) in cui si scusavano dell'inconveniente, e che si stavano infornando del motivo della chiusura, in data 16 é arrivato il rimborso completi sulla carta. A parte la mancata visita a, palazzo papale e giardino segreto di castel Gandolfo ( sarà per la prossima vacanza a, Roma) che non dipendeva da Headout, tutto molto corretto e professionale . ... Grazie.

Unfortunately the residence of the Palace were closed. When we bought the tickets, there was no information about it. It was a disappointment. The other program "the big Garden by golf cars" (we bought tickets separatly from the Castle program) was wonderful with very kind and helpful guides. Special thanks to them, they saved the day!

The purchase was made easy as was the trip to the Apostolic Palace. The guided tour through the grounds and palace were quite memorable (especially access to the papal apartment). Nice job!

Een zeer mooie uitstap gemaakt naar castel Gandolfo met de trein vanuit Rome. De residentie van de paus is zeer rustig gelegen op wandelafstand van het station van het dorp Castelli Gandolfo. De wandeling naar boven is op zich al een soort meditatie waarbij je steeds hoger boven het kratermeer uitkijkt. Eens boven kan je genieten van een weids uitzicht over het vulkaanmeer op een of ander terras. Daar wacht je ook een verfrissing of een goede maaltijd. De verzorgde eenvoudige tuin van Castel Gandolfo brengt je in een ontspannende sfeer. En het bezoek aan de vertrekken in de residentie brengen je dicht bij paus Leo en zijn voorgangers. Het drukke leven van een paus kan daar verstilling brengen en brengt hen dichter bij God.

Ein rundum beeindruckendes Erlebnis! Die Führung durch Castel Gandolfo war abwechslungsreich und informativ; Geschichte, Päpste und Anlage wurden spannend vermittelt. Besonders beeindruckten die wunderschönen Gärten, die prachtvollen Räume und die einzigartige Atmosphäre. Zum Abschluss kehrten wir in die Cafeteria ein; das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, sodass wir uns rundum willkommen fühlten. Ein Besuch, den wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen können – vielen Dank für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis!

Opere magnifiche con stili e tecniche che si differenziavano in base al soggetto, reperti del passato mantenuti in condizioni impeccabili, giardini curati che ti fanno sentire come in una favola. Consiglio vivamente l'esperienza che, personalmente, ho vissuto in coppia. 10/10
