I was very impressed by our guide, Elia, who gave us a fascinating tour of St. Peter’s Basilica.Everything was exceptional, from the history of the basilica’s construction on the site of Caligula’s Circus to the tombs in the cathedral’s crypt, only two of which belong to women—the queens of Cyprus and Sweden.

We had a wonderful trip to St. Peter’s Basilica with Headout, and the tour guide made the experience truly special. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, and explained the history and meaning of the basilica in a way that was both clear and interesting The tour felt well organized, and the guide was patient in answering questions and making sure everyone felt included . St. Peter’s Basilica itself is one of the most visited and important shrines in the world, so having a guide who could bring the artwork, history, and atmosphere to life made the visit even more memorable

Must do tour! We were fortune enough to get a tour guide from the Basilica who was extremely knowledgeable on not only the Basilica, but also the history and meaning leading to its creation! Just Wow! Please note that you still will have long lines for entry even with skip the line option, for understandable security measures. Once you see this place, you will wonder why it's not more highly guarded. Also tour meeting points / guides need to be better about wearing what they say they will be wearing, and meeting when they say they will. If we are required to be there a half hour early, they should be also, as well as standing out /wearing colors as described!

We really enjoyed this tour. While I had visited the Basilica before, a number of years ago, my family had not and we all found it equally interesting and enjoyable. Sean was our guide and it was clear how knowledgeable he was as he shared details beyond the building, where relevant, and was eager to help with any questions. He looked after the group really well, in high temperatures and a busy environment, while still being considerate of other tour groups/individuals and with hunour. Thank you!

Our guide, Pedro, definitely made the tour even more special! He has a wealth of knowledge and a real passion for the history of the place! He talked about the site itself, but also about the details and the messages that should be explored at a leisurely pace and with a fresh perspective.
