I bought tickets for the 8:10 a.m. train and arrived without any problems at the entrance to Castelgandolfo. In addition to the summer residence, which was used until about 15 years ago, I visited the two smaller gardens. To visit the much larger garden by shuttle bus, you need a separate ticket. Now the Pope stays at a different residence during the summer. I was satisfied with the visit.
