The Semi-State Rooms usually open from autumn to spring each year. They are currently closed until autumn 2026.

Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. St. George’s Chapel at Windsor is closed to visitors on Sundays and on June 12, 2026. On some days, the State Apartments may also be closed.

Windsor Castle will be completely closed from June 14-June 15, 2026.

If you upgrade to include train transfers, note that you must change trains at Slough. A full information pack containing your train and Windsor Castle ticket will be emailed to you 10 days before you travel.
