A Brilliant EXperience from start to finish. Natalie gave us some interesting facts about the area we met before we got to the tower, and was obviously very passionate about her job and the area in general (She was not a native Londoner which shows how special the area is) The entry into the tower was very smooth, and we were taken to meet our very own "Beefeater". We were taken to an area outside of where the Yeoman Guards live for a chat on the history of the Yeoman guards and what it entails - I, Unfortunately, can't recall the name of our Beefeater but he was very knowledgeable, informative, friendly and passionate about his role as a Yeoman warder We got to see several of the ravens, And in one case we were stopped from exiting via the normal route as 2 of them had taken up roosting there. we were only planning on being there for 1.5 hrs - thinking that was enough time to see everything - we were wrong .. we ended up missing our westminster walking tour so we could see everything the tower had to offer ADVICE - leave a good 3 to 4 hours if you want to experience it all as we were there for 3.5 hours and we didnt get to see the fusilier museum

Headout made it easy to book, the touring company involved was a little late to the game, but they came through in the end as the guide fell ill that morning. That said, it gave us a chance to meet Lisa Garland Beefeater #422, shared some great stories and fun insights. Special access in the morning, made rhe visit extra special .

The Beefeater’s fascinating insights into life at the Tower. We really enjoyed being in a small group and not having to wait in line. Plus, we started the tour at 8:30 a.m.—which meant we avoided the many school groups that arrive later. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

Our guide Stephen was really great. We, as Germans, understood him well. We didn't understand the Beefeater at all. What a shame.
