The Beefeater that gave the tour of the London Tower was hilarious. It was a very informative afternoon and the ticket purchased through headout was a good price and the app easy to use. Thankfully, despite being 45 minutes late for my ticket time because of how long the Big Bus took in traffic, I was still able to enter the museum.

The downloaded App "Dex" was great for my guided tour. What I liked about the guided tour was that it didn't follow the same route as the audio gadgets issued by the establishment. And the "Dex" tour wasn't too long, allowing me to revisit areas like the White Tower. A reminder to future visitors is that you should download the App "Dex" before you get to the Tower of London. I made the mistake thinking that my audio gadget had to be collected and stood in the line up for 15 minutes, only to be told that I had to download the App. And another nice thing about the App is that there are guided tours for other Places of Interest like Wesminster Abbey and the National Art Gallery.

Really loved the Tower of London the only thing that let it down was the guided tour via Dex. Firstly my husband couldn't access it due to it not being available on android. Secondly it wasn't made clear that you could switch to the Towers Wi-Fi to save data. Thirdly our phones ran out of battery towards the end and there was nowhere to charge them and finally due to renovations work the tour didn't start where it was supposed to so we had to go back on ourselves multiple times by which time the phone was running out of battery so I had to stop using the audio guide in order to save battery.

Despite the crowds, everything went smoothly with the pre-booked tickets. We were guided efficiently through the attractions without feeling rushed. I found it so interesting—it’s London’s oldest landmark. I’m very interested in English history, so for me, it was an absolute highlight. I definitely want to mention the Tower guards—such friendly and charming gentlemen.

Tower und Madam Tussauds beides mega und die Ticketbestellung lief super unkompliziert!
  • See two very different sides of England in one plan, from royal treasures inside a historic fortress to ancient stones standing alone in open countryside.

    Getting started

Start at either attraction and show your mobile ticket at the entrance. After a quick security check at the Tower of London, you can begin exploring. Plan your Stonehenge visit separately at your chosen time.

    What to expect

    Tower of London

Step inside a fortress that has stood for nearly a thousand years, where thick stone walls, towers, and narrow walkways hold stories of royalty, imprisonment, and power.

    Features:

    • Crown Jewels display: See the Crown Jewels up close, displayed behind glass, where crowns and ceremonial pieces catch the light and draw steady attention.

    • White Tower and historic rooms: Enter the White Tower and move through rooms filled with armor, weapons, and displays that reflect the fortress’s long and complex history.

    • Battlements and towers: Walk along elevated walls and explore towers like the Bloody Tower, where narrow passages and enclosed spaces hint at the lives once held inside.

    • Exhibitions across the site: Visit spaces like the Royal Mint and Fusiliers Museum, where displays add context to how the Tower functioned across different periods.

    Stonehenge

Out in the open countryside, the stone circle appears gradually as you approach, standing alone against wide skies with no modern structures around it.

    Features:

    • Walk around the stone circle: Follow the pathways that circle the monument, where you can view the towering stones from different angles and notice their size and arrangement.

    • Open landscape setting: Take in the wide, uninterrupted surroundings that make the stones stand out, with the horizon stretching in every direction around the site.

    • Self paced exploration: Move around the monument at your own speed, stopping where you want for photos or simply taking in the quiet atmosphere of the space.

  • What to bring

    Tower of London + Stonehenge
