I take this boat ride once a year with a friend. We get off at Friedrichshagen and stroll down Bölschestraße to the S-Bahn, then head home. So it’s nothing new—we live in the city, and even though everything is familiar, we enjoy it every time.

The trip to and on Lake Müggelsee was very pleasant and even included commentary at times. The food and beverage staff were a bit rough around the edges, but friendly and funny—if you know and like the Berlin character. The drinks were perfectly fine; the food selection was limited to bockwurst, wieners, or currywurst. Apparently, people had overindulged the previous days. Who’s in charge of the budget and purchasing there?! Otherwise, everything was good and worth recommending.
