It wasn't too crowded, so you can really explore and discover a lot. As a citizen of the GDR, I could vividly recall those days—the daycare center and the home furnishings are still found in some households today. I spent 1 1/2 hours in this lovingly designed museum.

With online tickets, there's no waiting in line at the ticket counter. The museum has lots of interesting information, as well as many hands-on exhibits, which is especially great for kids. You should set aside plenty of time.

It's a modern museum, but it's not some boring, run-of-the-mill place full of computer graphics and modern effects—just "more of the same." It's an interesting, compact museum that's PACKED with content. I really loved it.

De cruise was fenomanal with a briljant live speaker. The DDR museum was very interesting but way too crowded and warm and moist: I fled the building!

The museum content was great, but very busy and thus a bit cramped as it's quite a small space. My son found it a bit hectic, but it was worth the visit
