Back in Pompeii after 42 years. A lot has changed. The ruins have been restored and continue to be restored.
On that very hot summer day, we were able to relax at the rooftop restaurant.
It was easy with the skip-the-line tickets. We skipped the guide and audio tour and went on our own. This was mostly because of the heat. It was really nice, and we got to see everything we wanted to: 1👍

After booking, we were notified the location was in front of the Maratime carpark down by the port, which wasn't a problem but had we known the bus also stopped at the train station that would have suited ourselves a lot more but all in all great service. Thanks.
No nonsense air conditioned travel to Naples for less than 50 Euros for 2 people. Transfer takes around an hour but the scenery is breathtaking. Definitely recommend.

The bus driver was cool, calm and collected and carefully managed the queue for the bus.
