Our visit to St Paul's Cathedral in London was a truly remarkable experience for us from Australia. Our guide Mary was very engaging in presenting the cathedral's history throughout the several hundred years of its lifespan. We climbed the 520 stairs to the top of the dome for a magnificent vista from the outside. The crypt too was fascinating to explore. The highlight however, was the sung Eucharist evensong service which we attended as a Christian married couple. Being a music duo as well made the service particularly special given the incredible reverberation time in this building!

St.Paul's cathedral was amazing! But what made it so special was the self guided tour - very informative along with friendly and helpful staff - the walk to the roof was an absolute added bonus and the view was something we weren't expecting- spectacular!

I really enjoyed the audio guide! It provides great information about the Cathedral! Although I was not able to visit the crypt, at least I was able to go all the way up to the done and get great views of the city.

Whilst spending time in London we added Headout to our 'apps files' and used it to order tickets for visits to Churchill's War Cabinet Rooms and also St Pauls Cathedral. Having done an 18 month OE based in London in 89-90, weeks never got to St Paul's! 36 years later we got there and it was worth the wait. The architecture and stunning level of work that must have gone into this building is mind blowing. You HAVE to climb to the top if able. It is a stunning place with such entrenched history.
