FamilyVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5The Royal Palace of Madrid is truly extraordinary. The part open to the public is a sight to behold. In addition to the Palace, you can also visit the Royal Armory, where you can see a collection of countless suits of armor belonging to the various kings who have lived there. The admission fee was well worth it. After the tour, there’s also a section of the gardens you can explore, which I highly recommend. As for the Almudena Cathedral, which is right across the street, I only saw it from the outside—I just don’t understand why you’d pay €8 to enter a Christian church. But some people do pay.MMassimo M
FamilyVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5We visited the Royal Palace on Monday, and despite the large number of visitors, we got in quickly—even with the thorough security checks. The audio guide—which I highly recommend—was extremely helpful, providing concise explanations of the many beautiful rooms we visited. The Royal Palace was a wonderful discovery; it’s definitely worth a visit for anyone traveling to Madrid.HHector S
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5What we liked best about the tour was how quickly we were able to get in without waiting in line, and how comfortable the headphones were for listening to our friendly guide. She shared facts and dates with us and made our tour even more interesting—we loved it! 👌CChristian G

CoupleVerified bookingJul 20264/5The palace itself was fantastic but we were very disappointed that the visit was changed from 1100 to 1130. We rushed to arrive early, got there at 1050 then were told that we had been called the day before to explain the change. This was not true, we had only booked late in the night. Then the guide was late so our 1100 tour started at 1140. This meant we had to rush to get to our afternoon tour booked through Headout at the same time and had no time to stop for any lunch as we planned which was very difficult in the heat.
