Religious Sites in Florence

We were looking for a company we could trust to buy tickets from, and we chose Headout—we made the right choice. The process was very easy, and the ticket price was very competitive. It’s an easy-to-use app for those of us over 60. We’ll keep using it on future trips!

We split the day up with lunch in between. Good thing too as it's a lot of walking. Be prepared for lots of steps at the Uffizi (there are lifts). Crowds are unavoidable (we went at 10:15am) but not too excessive. Some amazing art and history I'm glad we visited. The Accademia was smaller and to see David in all his splendour was magnificent. I don't regret a penny spent. The whole area of Florence is beautiful and I'm so glad of the experience. Tickets bought through Headout were easy .... except transferring the online tickets to physical ones at Accademia was not that easy to follow. That could have been us though!

Truly unexpected and spectacular. The climb is an experience in itself, and reaching those views and that splendor is wonderful. Highly recommended.

The admission process was fine, but it would have been helpful to let us know that we had to check our backpacks at the coat check before entering. We waited 20–30 minutes before entering, only to be denied entry because of our backpacks. I had to run to drop them off, and we caught up with the group just in the nick of time. We weren’t the only ones in this situation. Please add this to the admission procedure. Otherwise, the climb up to the Duomo is worth it, and so is the cathedral itself.

We got in quickly, they sent us the ticket right away, and the gallery is absolutely wonderful—you absolutely have to see it if you come to Florence.

Visited Uffizi Gallery on 19 July 2026 @ 11:45am. I bought tickets online previous evening and it was an easy process; received tickets by email within one hour. Although the timed entry was 11:45am, I reached Uffizi Gallery half hour earlier, waited in line about 10 minutes and was allowed to enter the premises earlier. Security process was quick and easy. We enjoyed the visit to the gallery, had lunch in the cafeteria, took some photos from the terrace and walked out via Vasari corridor. All in all an unforgettable experience!

It was really great. A very beautiful cathedral—probably the most beautiful cathedral in the world. It's gorgeous and definitely worth seeing.

What a great experience! The Leaning Tower is amazing; in fact, everything there is wonderful. Wish the app had the bar code on it for the Pisa sites, no one prints a PDF anymore, just made it a little harder.
