We waited 20–30 minutes before entering, only to be denied entry because of our backpacks. I had to run to drop them off, and we caught up with the group just in the nick of time. We weren’t the only ones in this situation. Please add this to the admission procedure. Otherwise, the climb up to the Duomo is worth it, and so is the cathedral itself.MMartha L

We met up right outside the dome, he explained a few things and gave us our tickets, which were the "Brunillesci pass". Besides the dome climbe, we also had access to the church, baptistery, museum, bell-tower AND the held our luggage on our last day (next to museum)!!! Great deal & value! Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to climb the Dome or the Bell Tower. Those between the age of 7-14 must be accompanied by an adult.

- An accessible entrance is located on the right side of the Cathedral for guests with motor disabilities. The dome climb is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with motor disabilities.
