    What our guests say

Went solo and ended up spending nearly 4 hours here, just wandering around. The Pompeii stuff is INSANE – like, you see those mosaics in textbooks but here they’re right in front of you. I got a bit lost (the signs could be clearer tbh) but the staff was suuuper helpful and pointed me to the Secret Room (don’t skip it if ur into quirky history). Some rooms were a bit chilly, so bring a sweater if you get cold easily. I’d say it’s a must if you care even a little about ancient stuff.

Visited w/ my partner on a rainy Tuesday – perfect museum day! The Roman statues are HEFTY (seriously, how did they move these things??). Some of the signage is only in Italian though, so we used Google lens for quick translations. Loved the jewelry exhibits. Only minus: the café was packed and a bit pricey. But all in all, pretty epic.

Just WOW. Came here after doing Pompeii and this really tied everything together for me. The mosaics are literally breathtaking up close. Bring comfy shoes – my feet were DONE by the end. Also, you can’t take pics in some sections (the erotic art), so heads up. Staff was super friendly and patient even though my Italian is non-existent.

My family (2 teens + us) did the guided tour. Our guide, Paolo, was hilarious and clearly loves his job. Learned so much about daily life in Pompeii and saw some wild medical tools. Kids were fascinated by the 'for adults only' section lol. A bit crowded in the afternoons, so go early if you can!

Chill spot to escape the heat. The collection of sculptures is honestly impressive. Had to wait like 25 min to get in, but worth it for the air con alone. Btw, don’t miss the small room with the ancient dice and board games!
