We were a grandmother, granddaughter and daughter at the show yesterday. It was spectacular and charming. Excellent production. Spectacular scenery. There are no words for the amazing actors. Well done. We enjoyed ourselves very much, Dorit Maya and Gaya

Directed by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet) with music by Tom Fletcher and a book by Olivier winner Jessica Swale, the show features a cast including Victoria Hamilton-Barritt.

The story

When a polite little bear from Peru arrives in London, the Brown family take him in, and life becomes anything but ordinary. As Paddington settles into Windsor Gardens, he discovers that London is full of surprises, both friendly and chaotic. But when a mysterious villain targets him, the Browns rally to protect their newest family member. With music, mischief, and marmalade, the story follows Paddington’s quest to belong and the family’s journey to stand together, ending with a rescue that could change everything.

I already had high expectations, but even those were exceeded. The actors and actresses, the music, the set design. You can tell that so much love went into creating this musical; I laughed, I cried, and I rediscovered that kindness and love take you further than hate.

I cheered and everyone cheered. I gasped and everyone gasped. Paddington was brilliant, heart-warming and thoughtful. The lyrics were witty and engaging. (Hard stare!). I did not want it to end. It was long but I was never waiting for the end - instead sad it had to end. Loved it!
