It's been many years since I've seen a performance of As You Like It and I loved every minute. Touchstone was a gem, and he and all of the cast milked the audience reaction all the way. Loved inthe dropped mike. I also thought the set design and changes were very cleverly executed but it was the music that really pulled everything together. Even that cold wind didn't matter. (On a from the sublime to the ridiculous note our hotel room in Paris tonight gives us a grandstand view of armed police and the schools strike - give me Touchstone in his sheepskin any time)

The globe is a fantastic setting for a Shakespeare and experience everything is right there and the players play to the audience especially those standing. But beware the benches are more like pews than theatre seats and could get very uncomfortable they do rent out cushions though. Real experience for anyone.

I loved the over the top use of 18th century costumes.the musical aspects and audience involvement felt like what I would like to have experienced at the globe in the 1590's. my only wish would have been a pre show with jugglers and orange or nut sellers in the audience...

The entire evening was perfect. The actors are at the top of their game in this production. The only better piece of Shakespeare I've ever seen was Macbeth in the same space 25 years earlier. Thank you for doing justice to the words and the work!

Amazing production in an incredible atmosphere. Highly recommend purchasing tickets directly from the Box Office however - better seats at significantly cheaper prices!

What an experience! I would recommend this to anyone visiting London. You don't have to be a Shakespeare fan to appreciate it. I'm absolutely thrilled. The actors are amazing! We saw "As You Like It" and it was an incredibly funny and interactive experience. The historic theater itself makes an incredible impression.
