Пришли раньше усиановленного времени на целый час, но вошли без проблем. Предварительно обменяли наш электронный ваучер на бумажные билеты (на площади у нижнего входа в центре информации) и взяли карту археологического парка. Готовьтесь к тому, что комплекс большой и в нем придется провести не один час, поэтому лучше брать билеты на утреннее время. Дороги вымощены крупными камнями поэтому выбирайте удобную обувь. На территории парка есть краны с питьевой водой и специально отведенные для еды места, а также туалеты. Если едете летом, обязательно возьмите головные уборы, поскольку на территории мало тени.

Easy to book, nice place, worth to see. Pompeii offers a haunting, yet fascinating glimpse into ancient Roman life, frozen in time by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Walking through its remarkably preserved streets, visitors can explore homes, temples, and vibrant frescoes that look almost untouched by centuries. The entry into Herculaneum was very smooth and efficient. We were in the archeological site within minutes of arriving. Although the site was busy it wasn't crowded and it was easy to find quiet spots and return to other areas when it was quiet abd crowd free. The whole park is very impressive and in good condition. Personally, the most memorable parts of the park are the beautiful frescoes painted in such rich colours. Some are remarkably intact. Overall, it was a very memorable visit. Thank you Headout for the easy access.

Such an easy site ti obtain tickets to Pompeii. Spent the whole afternoon walking around. What a fantastic place to visit albeit so many suffered! You need trainers to walk over the many cobbled & boulderd areas. Didn't think a guide was too necessary, everything was explanatory & easy to navigate. Make sure you view Mount Vesuvius at the top through the cafe. Very emotional & very educational. It's just sad so many suffered in a horrific way imaginable 😔

The whole experience was amazing. The entry into the site was smooth and the staff were both friendly and efficient. While walking around Pompeii we were shocked by the size of the excavation and how similar our lives were to the people who lived there all those years ago. The audio information was both interesting and easy to navigate. All in all a brilliant experience. Thank you.

My lifelong dream of visiting the ruined city of Herculaneum was made significantly easier by Headout's easy ticketing process. No trouble coming in. First in line and we had the entre time at the earliest, which ment, that we pravtically had Hercilanum for ourselves for 2 hours before the guided tours til over.

What to expect

Herculaneum

What’s not allowed

Large backpacks, suitcases, and bulky luggage cannot be taken into either site.

Note that Herculaneum does not offer storage, while Pompeii has a cloakroom at the Superiore entrance.

No pets are permitted, except registered service/guide animals.

Smoking, alcohol, and prohibited substances are not allowed anywhere on-site.

Flash, tripods, and professional filming equipment may be limited in certain areas.

Accessibility

Terrain at both sites can be difficult and uneven, with partial accessibility for wheelchair users.

Those with reduced mobility may find some sections challenging.

Herculaneum includes some ramp-accessible areas, though not the entire site.

Accessible restrooms are available at both Pompeii and Herculaneum.

15 Oct to 15 March: 8:30am to 5pm (last entry 3:30pm)

16 March to 14 Oct: 8:30am to 7:30pm (last entry 6pm)

Free admission on the first Sunday of each month and select public holidays.

Discounted tickets are available for eligible visitors with valid documentation.

Pompeii

Make sure the names on your booking match your ID to avoid issues at entry.

Entry is free for visitors with disabilities and one accompanying person (processed on-site).

Children under 18 can enter free with a valid ID.

Reduced pricing is available for EU residents aged 18–24 and for non-EU residents who hold Italian residence permits.

Free entry is also offered on the first Sunday of each month.
