We really enjoyed the knowledgeable, informative, and thoroughly humorous tour of the harbor, even if it wasn’t always entirely accurate and occasionally included some old-fashioned “wife jokes.”
The 30-minute delay in departure time was negative and incomprehensible: The departure time was listed as 3:30 p.m. at the time of booking and in the app, and we were told to arrive early. Departing at 4:00 p.m. without communicating this is not good and comes across as unprofessional.

Amazing tour! Goes around the major landmarks in Hamburg and the guide recording explains everything in detail also giving fun facts about the city and its inhabitants. For example, Helmut Schmidt's smoking habits (the only photo taken of him when he was not holding a cigarette was that taken when he was born!), the multiculturalism of Hamburg, how the city changed over the years, where people normally gather on weekends and how their habits change between summer and winter are all highlighted. Do recommend!!!

- The online ticket didn't work on the bus; we couldn't print it out there
- Without a printed ticket, they wouldn't let us board a boat
- But the friendly staff were very helpful and accommodating, and after a lot of effort, they finally let us board a boat after all.
- The tours (bus and boat) were very interesting, and the guides were great!

I was truly amazed by the complete trust that the City of Hamburg places in its residents and tourists. We never encountered any ticket or pass inspections. We used the Hamburg Card for 5 days for 4 groups of 4 people each (16 people in total).
