This was our first booked activity after arriving in Rome in the morning and it was one of the best things we did on our 3 day trip. The colloseum is impressive in itself but our guide Gini really brought it to life. She was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Especially showing us pictures of how the Roman forum would have looked and showing us some vantage points that we would not have otherwise seen and explaining what would have happened in each. I would definitely recommend this type of tour and a big thank you to Gini, who not only was a fab tour guide but took some great photos of us. Thank you 😊

Good communication to keep us assured all was well. An excellent guide who kept the trip interesting. The tour was long enought to cover everything, but not so long as to be exhausting.

Early time slot for the colosseum is the way to go. Our guide, Aphrodite was very knowledgeable and would highly recommend her. We truly enjoyed this guided tour.

Headout managed to successfully turn around an initial bad impression. A few days before our tour of the Colosseum—which we had booked over a month earlier—we received a message from the operator, Doooing Experience, stating that the tour had been canceled. The only alternative they offered was the same tour in the afternoon, but in English instead of Spanish, which was not an acceptable solution. After several complaints to the operator, Doooing Experience, and Headout, I had to cancel the tour and rebook the same excursion with Headout for the afternoon, which Headout did offer in Spanish. I did so without being sure they would refund the canceled portion. Fortunately, the tour was excellent! It ended up being a private tour just for the four of us, with an exceptional Roman guide, Laura. Laura was impeccable; she guided us through the Colosseum, the Forum, and the Palatine Hill with absolute calm and dedication, explaining so many centuries of history with ease and conveying her love for Rome in a very pleasant way. She is definitely highly recommended. A few days later, the refund for the canceled tour arrived. So, despite the initial frustration and anxiety, Headout handled the situation well and more than made up for the initial bad impression.
