An exceptional and profound experience at the heart of history: simply unmissable! Visiting the Churchill War Rooms was truly exceptional in every way. From the very first moment, the experience was made perfect not only by the incredibly evocative atmosphere of the underground bunker, but also by the exquisite kindness and professionalism of the entire staff, who were always welcoming and helpful. The real added value is the audio guide (available in multiple languages), which offers a thorough and detailed description of every single room. Thanks to this audio guide, the bunker’s rooms are not merely exhibition spaces but literally come to life: walking through the Map Room and the secret corridors allows you to feel the tension and pressure of the most dramatic days of World War II. It’s a visit that offers a wealth of food for thought about the past. It’s both fascinating and moving to discover the incredible level of logistical organization of that era and to immerse yourself in the thoughts and strategies of the conflict’s key architects. Seeing up close where Churchill and his closest aides gathered, cut off from the world, to plan their defense and devise ways to counter the enemy is an experience that leaves a lasting impression and prompts deep reflection on the horrors and complexities of war. A perfect blend of historical accuracy, emotional engagement, and an atmosphere frozen in time. Everything is truly beautiful and impeccably organized. Highly recommended for everyone, from history buffs to anyone looking for a unique experience in London!

First of all, the Churchill War Rooms are very well located, because in addition to being central, they’re close to the beautiful St. James’s Park and just a short distance from Buckingham Palace, so you can combine your visits. If you’ve booked in advance, admission is on time without much of a line because it’s well managed. The bunker is meticulously designed, with details that provide insight into both the activities carried out inside—particularly the cartographic studies used to monitor enemy movements and anticipate their intentions—and the tense atmosphere that prevailed within an underground, militarized, and under bombardment. A highlight of the tour is Churchill’s private quarters and offices, as well as the rooms where the fate of many soldiers—and the war itself—was decided.

I am a history buff, and especially love WWII history. I'm American, and I've always had a great appreciation for Winston Churchill. It was fascinating to walk through the underground bunker and see all of the inner workings of the places where all the planning and strategizing was done. I also really enjoyed the separate part of the tour devoted to Churchill himself. It was so well done and very interactive. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing to see the preserved "as was" state Of the war room from where Winston Churchill lead the War cabinet effort for England. The museum area had a treasure of artifacts that explained PM Churchilll's life story and the high resolve of the people of London in a long battle against Nazi germany in World War II. Fascinating place to see!

Greay way to learn history. Interactive, engaging and informative. So much to see, hear and do. Loved it all, as did my teenage daughter.
