Very interesting and intriguing part of WWII history. Tremendous collection of Churchill memorabilia professionally displayed for visitors. This was a sobering exhibit of the dedication and tenacity of the British military and government during the darkest days.

Arriving early at the museum, we were able to catch the end of a "practice" for the kings upcoming birthday June 13. We thoroughly enjoyed the museum, especially the video recordings of people who worked on staff. It made history come alive in real time.

La reserva funcionó perfectamente. Casi no hubo que esperar para entrar a ambos lugares. Todo más que impecable. Las horas de diferencia entre un lugar sirvió para ir caminando desde Westminster hasta la Torre de Londres

Visiting Churchill’s war room is a truly memorable experience. The events that unfolded behind the walls of this bunker—and the decisions made by his staff and by Churchill himself—were decisive for the course of World War II. For me, as a military historian, it has always been fascinating to visit the place where the fate of entire nations was decided. Despite the captivating atmosphere of the office and the fact that all personal belongings, maps, and rooms have been preserved exactly as they were over the years—it’s amazing. I was struck by the fact that the microphones, which were placed somewhere near the iron beams supporting the shelter’s ceiling, created the sounds of whistling and the roar of bomber engines, and this, in turn, immerses a person with a thirst for knowledge in the day of one of the Luftwaffe’s largest raids on the British Isles. You’re not just a visitor or someone with extra money to see something unusual—you’re a participant, a participant in the events, and your work is here now, alongside Churchill, who is somewhere in another room or in his “private bathroom” negotiating with President Roosevelt. You’re here, and it matters. You feel like a maker of history. I thank the entire magnificent IWM team and the sponsors who went to great lengths to keep the office in excellent condition and maintain the comfort that existed during those dark times. For me, it is an honor and a source of pride to be there and see this beauty with my own eyes.

We enjoyed the War rooms and Westminster Abbey but were expecting a guide. The service is strictly a ticket brokering agency. I'm not sure why there is a meeting point when there is nothing to meet about.
