The self-guided audio tour takes you to various places from the life of Anne Frank and her family (including a map). You feel more connected because you are right in the middle of it all. There are also additional stories, besides Anne Frank, so you learn more. We both had the app on our cell phones with earphones in, to minimize distractions, but you can also view it on one screen. We were unlucky with the weather, so we split it up (if you listen up to story 6, you can continue listening the next day). If, like us, you stop to look around and take photos at every stop, it takes longer than 2.5 hours. We went for a drink at De Ysbreeker (highly recommended). The only downside is that the audio sometimes stopped abruptly, which I think was a technical error. The videos are well presented. Do this in good weather! It's a nice addition if, like me, you've already visited the Anne Frank House. Have fun!

Very nice interesting walk. Just a pity that the app is not so clear. But all in all highly recommended. Saw a very nice part of Amsterdam and the Jordaan.

I did the audio guided walking tour prior visiting the Anne Frank House, and it was the perfect addition and preparation for it, even though I read the diary and was familiar with Anne's story before. It unfortunately was a rather rainy grey-ish day but somehow also the perfect fit as the tour (at least for me) was very touching and emotional.
