Did you know?

The original brewing room still contains the massive copper boilers used in the 19th century, preserved perfectly to showcase the historical scale of production.

The Heineken "Star" on the bottle represents the four natural ingredients—water, malted barley, hops, and yeast—plus a fifth point representing the "unknown magic" of brewing.

The brewery functioned as the main production site for Heineken until 1988, when the company moved operations to a larger facility in Zoeterwoude to meet global demand.

Heineken, as a company, owns more than 170 beer brands worldwide, showcasing its influence in the global beer market.

The Heineken Experience is part of the European Route of Industrial Heritage, which presents 845 sites in 29 European countries.

This boat tour was, without a doubt, much better than we expected! The crew was fantastic, friendly, and hilarious, and we learned so many interesting historical facts and fun little details about Amsterdam. We took this tour on our last day in Amsterdam, and we really regretted not booking it for one of our first days instead. We discovered so many interesting places and points of interest that we hadn't even heard of before! We can't recommend this tour enough. A huge thank you to the amazing crew, and we wish you all the very best! Cheers from Portugal! 🇵🇹

The tickets were easy to purchase for the time slot we wanted and the day we wanted. The tickets were readily accessable on our phone and had no issues in presenting them at the entrance to both museums. The museums were very well laid out and we could have spent so much more time exploring especially in the Rijksmuseum. Alas there were not enough hours in the day to see it all. So there is more to explore the next time we are in Amsterdam.

Enjoyed the stadium at how big it was when you were on the pitch, looking at the playing shirts of the famous players who had played there. I enjoyed doing it at my own pace, would have maybe preferred some more reading bits but enjoyed it

What I liked most about the Ajax tour was seeing the behind-the-scenes areas that you don’t normally get access to, like the dressing rooms, tunnel, and pitchside. It was interesting learning more about the club’s history and seeing how much emphasis Ajax puts on developing young players. Walking through the stadium and imagining the atmosphere on a matchday was definitely the highlight for me

The ever changing, always suberb Rijksmuseum never ceases to conjour up awe and wonder as the jewel in the crown of the world's very best museum quarter. Usually impossible to get into at short notice without needing a second mortgage, we booked 14hrs before our excellent crowd beating 9am entry slot via the always suberb Headout.com. All at ~70% of the usual fee. Would reuse in a New York heart beat, cannot recommend highly enough.
