Pro tips to help you make a pick

Pick your ticket type by experience, not just date. The Stadium Tour includes backstage areas such as the tunnel, dressing rooms, pitchside, press areas, and Royal Box; match and concert tickets give you your seat and concourse access only.

About Wembley Stadium

Wembley works as both England’s national football stadium and a behind-the-scenes guided tour on non-event days. Visitors move through the Players’ Tunnel, Dressing Rooms, Press Conference Area, and Royal Box rather than seeing the bowl from a seat alone. Exhibition spaces also connect the 1923 stadium, the 2007 rebuild, and major football and concert moments tied to the site.

Did you know?

The current Wembley reopened in 2007 on the site of the original 1923 stadium, replacing the old twin towers with the present arch.

Why visit Wembley Stadium?

Walk the Players’ Tunnel to Pitchside

The tour follows the route players take before kick-off and brings you out beside the touchline and technical area. From pitchside, you see the scale of the stadium from a manager’s-eye view and can take photos near the field.

Plan your visit

General Admission Turnstiles

These turnstiles are spread around the stadium’s outer perimeter and are labelled by the block numbers shown on your ticket. They are the standard entry points for match and concert ticket holders, with ticket scanning at the turnstile after external security and bag checks. Queues are usually longest about 45 to 90 minutes before the start on sell-out event days. Many general entrances involve stairs after the turnstiles, so visitors needing step-free access should follow the separately signed accessible routes.

Club Wembley / Hospitality Entrances

These dedicated entrance points are signposted separately from the general turnstiles and are for Club Wembley and hospitality guests. They usually offer a quicker arrival experience than general admission at peak times, although security screening and ticket checks still apply. Club Wembley facilities provide step-free access and lifts, making this entrance a better fit for visitors using premium tickets or needing easier vertical access within hospitality areas.

Tour Entrance / Club Wembley Main Entrance

This is the main stadium reception area used as the starting point for Wembley Stadium Tours. Tour tickets are scanned here, and queues are usually small around the booked time slot compared with major event days. The entrance is accessible, with lift access available along the tour route, although some areas on the tour may have limited wheelchair access. If you are visiting for the tour rather than a live event, this is the entrance to look for rather than the numbered turnstiles around the stadium.
