We booked a pass that included a locker, and we went there at 8 a.m. on a Thursday. We got in very quickly—there was no line. There are small changing rooms with large lockers to store your belongings. In the morning, we started with the indoor pools. Very few people in some of the pools—we were alone. There are lockers next to each pool to put your phone, towels, etc. There are many pools with different temperatures. Very pleasant. Around 10 a.m., we went to the outdoor pools... really nice... there were a few more people, but it was fine. There were plenty of lounge chairs... we stayed until noon. Great experience.

The spa is pretty amazing. There are at least a dozen pools of various temperatures, plus saunas of different intensities. There are hours of things to try out and lots of space to relax. You get a little wristband when you enter and this gives you access to the lockers, which work great. The online ticketing worked perfectly. Note! Bring towels and flip-flops, or you have to buy them there.

It was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our time at the Széchenyi Thermal Baths, and the weather was great, so we were able to explore all the different areas. A nighttime stroll along the Danube is definitely worth it—seeing the whole city lit up is breathtaking. I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends.

An exciting evening boat ride with all the illuminated architecture in the background. The hot springs had incredibly hot water.... despite the bad weather, it was absolutely delightful to take a dip, even outdoors. A wonderful experience—I highly recommend it to everyone.

The facility is well-maintained. We spent a few relaxing hours in a wonderful place. I recommend arriving before 10 a.m. to find a spot to lie down; otherwise, you’ll have to wait until some open up in the afternoon.

When we bought the tickets online, we just went to the ticket counter, showed our code, and they gave us wristbands that let us into the park and access our lockers. Once inside, we explored the place. The outdoor lap pool was under repair, so I couldn’t use it, but I was able to enjoy the others. I went during the hot season and enjoyed it even though it was a bit stuffy, but I imagine it’s more pleasant in the winter. I left feeling really relaxed, to be honest, because there’s a pool with very cold water and another area where you can apply ice and get treatments.

The deal is a good one, the thermal pools are pleasant and not too crowded, though the prices for on-site services are a bit steep; as for the cruise, while it was pleasant in the evening with the city all lit up, I would have preferred to take it on an open-air boat or one with a retractable roof; otherwise, everyone has to stay on the right side of the boat, and it gets a bit crowded...
