Seeing The Book of Mormon was hands-down one of the funniest theatre experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, it’s outrageously bold, brilliantly written, and packed with laugh-out-loud moments that don’t let up. The music is insanely catchy (you’ll be humming it all the way home), and the cast delivers pure energy, charm, and comedic perfection. What really makes it stand out is how it balances shock humor with surprising heart—it’s clever, cheeky, and unexpectedly uplifting. Whether you’re a theatre lover or just looking for a night of unforgettable entertainment, this show absolutely delivers.

WOW!!! My 19-year-old son and I were blown away (not literally, do not worry) by the performance! The cast, the talent, the wit of the storyline, the songs and choreography. Plus, the man in the orange jumpsuit featured in the Mormon Hell scene made it obvious that the Book of Mormon is kept up-to-date. Hilarious! Declan Egan's portrayal of Elder Price was outstanding! The man is unbelievably charismatis, his vocals are equal to his excellent comedic timing, and he controls the stage by merely raising an eyebrow. Conner Peirson's Elder Cunningham was hilarious and captivating, as well. The dance numbers blew us away (again, not literally), as did the vocal talent of the cast. If we could give the peformance ten stars out of five, we would! Please, please, please go and see the Book of Mormon! You will not be sorry!

This has been my first musical experience ever and I can't imagine a better start of a new obsession (it's worth mentioning that I've been waiting since September to come to London for this specific show). The tone has been set from the entrance, the staff extremely helpful and polite, the bar well-equipped, but most importantly - the show itself. From reading the reviews I was expecting a funny show, but to see this perfectly written satire on topics considered taboo nowadays... speechless... tbh the soundtrack plays on repeat (Spooky Mormon Hell Dream will be living in my head rent-free until the day I die or longer).

The Book of Mormon is a fantastic show. Extremely funny and controversial in equal measure. If you are easily offended this may not be the show for you. You need to keep an open mind. We had front row seats in the Circle, A32 & A33, which are stated as restricted view. However this was not an issue, there is a raised barrier just to the right, but this does not restrict the view, and they are well worth the reduced price.
    • From the minds behind South Park and Avenue Q comes this riotously funny musical that pokes fun at faith, pop culture, and everything in between.

    • A Broadway smash hit and West End favourite, it has swept 9 Tony awards, 4 Olivier awards and a Grammy for the Best Musical Theater album.

    • It is created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, with Frozen’s Robert Lopez (yes, that’s the guy behind "Let It Go").

    • Expect outrageous comedy, brilliant choreography, and songs like Hasa Diga Eebowai. Book The Book of Mormon London tickets to join the irreverent gospel.

    The story

Elder Price is ambitious, clean-cut, and dreaming of Orlando. Elder Cunningham is… not. Together, they're sent to a Ugandan village to spread the word of Mormonism, but warlords, disease, and disbelief stand in their way. As faith clashes with reality, hilarity ensues, and a new kind of gospel emerges. Want to know if every day really can be a latter day? Only one way to find out.

    Critics reviews

“An unstoppable hit. A fabulous comedy that both shocks and delights with equal measure.”

    Evening Standard

“Packed with sharp wit, catchy songs, and jaw-dropping satire — it’s a rare musical that leaves audiences laughing nonstop.”

    The Guardian

Amusing, irritating, rude, OTT, excellent comedy from Arnold; good caricature of belief systems that could have been done without foul language.
