We loved the show - and remember the event very well. Both of us were teenagers at the time and viewed the concert on tv and events with a big screen in our comunity. A talented cast, including Julie Atherton from Mamma Mia and Craige Els from Doctor Who, will recreate this global jukebox for you.

On 13 July 1985, a group of talented musicians proved that music can overcome all barriers. In a world plagued with political unrest, 70 musicians managed to bring together 1.9 billion people to celebrate the power of music and raise funds for famine relief in Africa. The concert lasted around 16 hours, and has gone down in history to be the most-watched television special!
