I loved the musical. I felt like I was on Broadway with the incredible sound and the sets! Unfortunately, I have to say that there wasn't much leg room, 2h30 is a long time without being able to stretch out your legs... A lady from security caught me because the people in front of me were complaining of "violent kicks" when I was just getting back into place, and a father (who had longer legs than me) was separated from his wife and children because of this, which I think is a shame, given the price ...

This is a beautifully staged production that captures both the brilliance and complexity of Michael Jackson’s story. The show balances exhilarating performances and stunning choreography with moments that touch thoughtfully on the more difficult aspects of his life and career. The costumes are spot on and you don’t need to be a Michael Jackson fan to love this show. The only thing I did not appreciate was the constant running about from some of the younger audience. Please do not bring your kids if they can´t sit still for the duration.

The show was spectacular in portraying Michael Jackson's genius masterpieces during his Dangerous tour, as well as reminiscing the historical fabulous Jackson Five. All the cast was excelently picked and managed to drive contagious hype and energy to the audience. It is a must show to watch, while singing MJ songs by heart (as well as out loud at end of the show). The actor who played MJ was so much like MJ, even on the vocal, voice, act and move. What a great night to spend with amazing talented cast and production!

    The story

Set during rehearsals for Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour, MJ The Musical in London blends flashbacks and present‑day prep to reveal his creative spark, personal struggles, and the high stakes behind the scenes. Audiences follow Jackson’s interactions with his creative team and family, exploring his drive for perfection, complex identity, and the pressure of fame, all while iconic songs punctuate the narrative. What emerges is not just a show, but a portrait of transformation, leaving you wondering: how will fame and artistry collide?

    Critics reviews

“We’re taken by Myles Frost’s spell-binding ‘MJ’ on a hectic ride… Christopher Wheeldon’s production is a superlatively directed and choreographed piece of absolute pizzaz.”

    - The Standard

“Each song has a message here… a spectacular second-act number shows MJ dueting with dance greats… the show’s avoidance of Jackson’s scandals raises ethical questions.”

    - The Independent

Big MJ fan, enjoyed this different take on his life and music. The music in the show was part of the biography to tell his story rather than just play the big hits. I was lucky enough to see the real thing twice. This may be the best show I have seen that celebrates his legacy.

Absolutely sensational! I'm 41 and this was my first time visiting London and so wanted to see something at the West End. Michael Jackson was inspirational and a big part of my childhood growing up. His music, style and energy cannot be matched and he'll be remembered for many decades to come. This show did him proud. My first ever West End Theatre experience and it did not disappoint! The actors, stage, music, crew were all amazing. I loved every minute and even told my wife that I may be falling in love with musical theatre. The actors were all incredible, how they represented their characters was truly remarkable. I'll never forget the rendition of Billie Jean dance from the 1983 Motown 25th Anniversary was exceptional. It's fair to say I loved the evening from start to finish. Only disappointment is that I won't get to see it for a 2nd time! Well worth every penny if anyone is debating whether to see this or not! It's a must!!!!!
